Holiday Half-Time

Sorry I've been away so long, the holidays have been crazy and I've had to work a lot but I no longer have to worry about work anymore. However we're only half-way through the holidays at the moment and we find ourselves busy and seeing people in person so I haven't put much time into the blogs lately and I apologize to everyone who likes to keep up with the kids.

I probably won't be posting everyday at this time of the year but I will try to post more often with any interesting pictures I can manage to get. I'll skip the days where I just get sleeping shots from now on. If there was no post or pictures then nothing really new or exciting happened that day.

And now onto the following mass picture gallery because even though I wasn't posting I was still taking pictures.

Main news points: Started crawling on hands and knees rather than just doing the worm across the floor, pulls herself up to standing on anything she can get a hold of, went and saw Megamind and loved it, we spent Thanksgiving with both families and had a ton to eat and Aria got held by everyone and played with Emmett, and Aria does not like the snow as much as Asher does however she does love the camera phone as much.

Lots of running around with brother today. Ran into Grandma Robinson though for lunch which was pretty cool. Went to McDonalds and happened to catch her on her lunch break which was an awesome treat. Aria did really well with all the out and about for hours. Only got fussy once and a bottle helped that.

Wednesday Fun

Honestly not much happened Wednesday outside of the usual schedule. Mommy had to work that night so kids got some quality time with Daddy. On a side note she sleeps like Mommy, lol.

Camera Lover

Such a little Diva I have on my hands. She loves the camera... and grabbing the camera... and trying to eat the camera... she's so grabby! but I honestly can't complain, she behaves so well when we go out and about for errands and such. As long as she ate before hand she usually never fusses until she's hungry again and when we're out of the house there is so much to look at that she doesn't mind waiting a bit longer till chow time.

Back to Basics

After the fun and a little crazy Halloween weekend trying to get back into routine starting Monday (these pictures). Get up, take brother Asher to school (it is getting so cold outside!), go errand running if needed, pick up brother Asher, lunch time, nap time, tons of tummy time playing with brother then Daddy gets home for dinner, then bed time. Teeth

Got some good pictures of Aria's new teeth finally. The fact that she is horrible with getting her tongue in the way and my old phone being slower made it almost impossible for me to get a good picture of them before. But there they are! both came in at the same time, hopefully the process will continue to go that swiftly. She didn't fuss much about them either, just started chewing on everything like she always had. P.S. LOVE the quality of the new phone!

Tried the zoom out. It's a nice feature but the quality suffers for it.

Finally got a new phone so I feel like these posts will be much more fun and easier and faster to do. I am now able to take video which adds a whole new element to the blogs and is a ton of fun. Along with better picture quality and the new ability to do my entire blog post via my iPhone 4 makes blogging so much easier. So new phone, new day, new blog ^_^

BTW, Aria's two bottom teeth finally came in! Bring on the food!

Sick Week

Asher decided to come home and get everyone sick with a cold so I was busy with tending to both sick kids by myself with Dad at work all day while being sick as well at the same time so I've been behind with a lot of my hobbies lately. Also today my phone broke permanently, so tomorrow I'm going to try and get a replacement but because of this I might be behind in the Blogs again.
Due to Daddy's new job keeping him at work from 4am till 6pm along with needing to focus more on school and handling the kids alone for the majority of the day I will probably be limiting this hobby to once a week posts. I will still take pictures daily but I find myself less stressed if I start cutting back on some of my extra circular activities. I dropped down to a slower program for school so I only take one class at a time (which not only gives me more time in my week but also gives me a better financial benefit.)
I will post again once I get my new phone about what I plan to do with this new Blog schedule and depending on what phone I can get (hoping for the iPhone 4 *crosses fingers*) I might be able to add some new features to the blog that will make it more personal, more up-to-date and easier for me to manage.

Aria kept grabbing the camera while I was trying to take pictures while we waited for Asher's bus to arrive home. She is getting so big. She's starting to lift her tummy off the ground now but only for a short while with no movement following. She's also getting better at sitting up. I'm hoping to get a Bumbo for her soon after I fell in love with the one at Brett and Jennie's house. Now that Daddy has a new job he started on Monday that means Aria has to go with Mommy everyday to drop off and pick up Big Brother Asher. Which means a lot more awake time for Aria!

So here's the pictures for Tuesday that I had taken. Aria's doing well and I am currently going in after every time she sleeps and finding her on her tummy looking around and whining. She likes being on her tummy but she gets upset when her neck starts to get tired and she hasn't figured out how to roll back over yet, lol. I'll try to get a picture of her like that soon, it's pretty cute.

Monday Catch-Up

Trying to get caught up with everything. Trying to find new routines that might work better for us and trying to find time around work, school, friends and family to keep up with the blogs. I continually take pictures every day but it takes an hour, give or take, to do a blog post and I usually do them at night before going to bed after I have taken the pictures for the day.
Lately, however, I find myself so tired from working late nights then getting up early to feed Aria and take Asher to school that I end up sleeping at night rather than posting. So I think I'm just going to do my posts in the morning after Asher has gone to school to show the previous days' pictures.
I'm hoping this little change will take away some stress and worry for being "on time" for the correct date to show and will also help manage my time a little better and go to bed close to when the kids do.

I am often amazed at how well Aria behaves when we are out in public. She never fusses unless she is starving otherwise she just enjoys watching people and will even sit quietly in her car seat the whole time. Bonus because that means as soon as we get in the car after being out and her being awake the whole time she goes out like a light.

Aria slept a ton today, I was frankly surprised that she was asleep for so long today. She got a little walker time in, and I put her in the high chair for a bit because she's having some trouble sitting up on her bottom on the floor. I broke out the Hip Hammock as well today to carry her around for a bit and see if it fit. It works but it's still a little big on her so my arm remains occupied but she is more secured when working with one hand

Mondays Mean Nothing

... to anyone Aria's age, lol. For most it means going back to work but for Mommy it means 'weekend' and 'free time'. Aria spent some good time cuddling on the couch with Mommy today. Aria is doing amazing with the standing while holding on to something. I think she prefers standing to sitting or crawling. She has such strong legs! She's still a little wobbly but she greatly progresses every day. She'll hold my fingers for balance but she is putting all of her weight on her legs already.

Weekend Changes

Hello All,

I've decided since I now find myself so busy and away from the kids on the weekends that I'm going to change the way I do those posts. I will continue to take what pictures I can but will make both the Saturday and Sunday posts a single one that will be put up alongside my Monday post. With the weekend posts there probably will not be many words, just the pictures, unless something really exciting/important happens.

On a fun side note, I am hoping to save some of the money from my new job to try and purchase a nice professional camera so I don't have the blurring problem with the kids moving so much or the grainy pixel problem from poor lighting. It may take a while of saving but it is something I really want so I can make these blogs, and my memories, better and clearer.

Nail Clipping

Aria is such a wiggle worm that clipping her nails is such an ordeal. She even wiggles in her sleep if I hold her hand to clip her nail so nipping the tip of her thumb was bound to happen. I know most parents have probably had this happen because you find if you don't babies end up scratching up their faces which is no fun either. It makes you feel so bad knowing you hurt them (even that little nip or when you have to take them to get shots) even though it's not really your fault (with the way they wiggle and the shots being needed for school and health.) Even though you know there was nothing you could do you still feel horrible but they stop crying and start laughing at you again and the little ouchy is soon forgotten.

New Bedroom

Finally got the missing screws today and was able to put together the crib for Aria. At the same time I decided to rearrange the room a bit and I like the new look and extra space. Also, I think Aria loves the new bed.

Sorry about all the Sleep shots lately, between work, school, kids and Daddy, Mommy usually forgets to snap pictures during the day unless something new/cute/exciting happens during the day so a lot of the "usual" days end up getting a sleeping shot when Mommy's Blog Alarm Reminder goes off around 9pm. However after tomorrow Mommy is off for the rest of the week and will try to be better about getting some awake time pictures.

Great Grandma Stafek said that she had the screws needed to put the crib together and that she'd bring them over when she got a chance so Aria should soon have a nice full size crib to wiggle and roll around in. Aria keeps grabbing everything! if she can see it she'll reach out to grab it and if she grabs it she give it the death grip. While cute and funny it can be a pain when it's Mommy's hair and clothes. In the above picture Aria actually grabbed the camera for that.

Aria slept a lot today, I'm guessing due to her shots yesterday. She was happy when she was awake though and didn't fuss when woken to be changed so that was a good thing. I hope she feels more awake tomorrow.

4 Month Check-Up

Aria did really well today at her doctor appointment. She weighs 15lbs 4oz and is now 24 inches long and doing great. She's getting so big! However, she did have to get 4 immunizations as well. 1 was in liquid form (which is amazing! Wish they made all of them drinkable.) and the other 3 were shots to the thigh. Needless to say, she didn't like those very much.

Aria was finally able to roll back onto her tummy today. She spent a long time rolling around on the floor today and loved it. rolling onto her back, rolling onto her tummy to look around, wiggling for all she was worth. That's all I really got to do with Aria today. Aria was asleep when I went to work. I worked a long day and when I got home she was awake but soon after she got hungry and fell asleep for the night after she finished off her dinner so I didn't get to spend a lot of time playing with her today but Daddy said she did good, was awake most of the day, and got in some good tummy time with him on our bed.

Rhythm

Aria starting to fall into a nice sleeping rhythm it seems. Waking up around 7am to eat then falling back to sleep for an hour or so then staying awake most of the day perhaps a small 30 minute nap during the middle of the day then going down for bed for the night around 7pm. It's becoming a nice routine and when she's awake she's never too fussy, Asher usually entertains her a lot just by playing where she can seem him and Mommy makes sure she gets some tummy time in daily till she can't hold her head up any more. It's become a good routine and an adaptable one.

At the Theater

Aria did amazing this morning when we all went to the theater to see the free kids showing of "How to Train Your Dragon". She watched the whole thing without fussing at all. She seemed to be really content sitting in Mommy's lap and watching the pretty moving pictures for 2 hours and Mommy was grateful that she behaved so amazingly well. But after a long wakeful morning and afternoon Aria turned in for an early bedtime.

Grab and Gab

Aria had begun to become very grab-y lately where she will reach for and clutch to anything she can get her little hands on, whether it be her blanket, her dress, Mommy's shirt or Mommy's hair... she is also becoming more vocal using different sounds and grunts when "talking" to people. She also, to my amazement, started sucking on her thumb almost deliberately, which I don't mind at this age but pray it won't become a bad habit like her Grandma Robinson had.

Then later that night Aria got to go to her first movie at the theater. They don't last long but they make cute picture when I can get them. I've had to keep Aria on her tummy more lately because she's getting bad heat rash under her neck from sweat and milk and drool that it's making it very red and creating a lot of dead skin and yucky buildup. The only way I found to get some air there is tummy time cause she'll lift her head to look up at us. Any suggestions on how to help her neck get better would be awesome.

Cleaned up Aria's room a bit and reorganized. trying to get ready to put the crib together but I need to get a few things besides finding those missing screws. I'm really wanting to get new bedding for all of us and am debating about moving her into a crib until I get some. She's so wiggly that I hate seeing her in that bassinet thats in my opinion won't last much longer with her.

Holding Own Bottle

Aria is getting into the habit of holding her bottle while she eats (which is a good thing to me). It helps her develop arm muscles, build independence, and doesn't tie my arms down for hours out of the day. She's getting so big and she such a wiggle worm that I'm already starting to pull out the full size crib to upgrade her out of the bassinet put I'm missing a bag of screws needed to assemble it >.<

Eating at the Table

Aria did really well today and seemed to really enjoy sitting up at the high chair and being able to see everyone. She recognizes the bottle now and will seriously try to attack it with her mouth when she see's it close enough. It makes me laugh every time she does it.

Shopping Day

Aria was awake most of the day today. she only passed out right before we got to the checkout lane and in the car. She was a pretty happy baby today and did well with all the out and about excitement today.

Gettin' Out the High Chair

... not because she's actually eating anything on it but so that we have someplace where Aria can sit at the table with us and be eye level. She does pretty well with her head now and the seat can actually lean back for her so it's actually pretty comfy for her.

Baby Mullet

Don't think I've showed this before but Aria's getting some more hair in now, however, the back is still bald from where she lays down and rubs her head. This has resulted in the usual Baby Mullet hair style, unfortunately there isn't really anything to do except give as much tummy time as possible during the day. She will grow out of it but right now is simply makes me chuckle a little.

Good day today. Aria slept quite a bit but was still able to sneak a little tummy time in. She's getting so big but still cute as a button especially when sleeping quietly.

Close to Crawling

Aria did really well during her daily tummy time today, she lasted longer than usual and held her head up very good and was kicking her feet like crazy, won't be long till she gets big enough to crawl then things will get interesting lol.

I swear I didn't do it... It was all Aria how messed with the blankie and she didn't seem to mind it being like that at all. In fact, I'd wager she really liked it. It kept her much warmer in this freezing house plus she's a total fabric freak, she LOVES holding cloth and fluffy/soft things. Every blanket she needs to wrap around herself and every time someone holds her she snags onto their clothing so the above picture kinda is the epitome of her feelings towards feeling. Plus it is simply adorable! She looks like a little Monk or a wizard with that big cowl and big robe arms, lol

Just Wants to be Held

Aria just wanted to be held today and wanted to see everything that was going on. As long as she was in someone's arms she was happy and quiet, as soon as you tried to put her down then came the tears, only 3.5 months old and already spoiled!

Aria did really good today and was awake for most of it. She did really well when Grandma Robinson took her and Mommy to the nail salon to get pedicures she was so content to lay on Grandma's Chest and vibrating with the cool chair. She also got to show off her vocal talents to Grandma and Grandpa Vermillion today too, she laughed a lot there with Grandma.

Long Day

We had a long day today, Went to pick up some stuff at the store this morning then played with Grandma Robinson and Uncle Grant, Then Mommy took Aria to Costco with Grandma Robinson, Then got a tubby at Grandma's house and got to see Grandpa too! Aria also made sure to talk and talk and talk to everyone who glanced her way today, she was a little chatter-box! It was a long, fun day.

Aria laughed so much today! She loves me swooping her towards the ground then sweeping her back up. She also loves when I lift her into the air. She simply squeals in delight it's so cute. Still chewing on her hands as you can see in the pictures lol.

Aria has been drooling up a storm and munching on her hand like crazy but I still don't see any teeth, I'm sure they are on their way though, sad thing is went to go get the teething ring we had and turns out it got punctured and won't work anymore, time to go get something else so she isn't slobbering all over her hand.

Aria seems to both love and hate the walker. Though her feet barely brush the ground on the lower than lowest setting she seems to love sitting up and being able to look around, a few minutes later she starts fussing, then she sees mommy and is all smiles and giggles then she starts doing the laughing and crying at the same time thing which is down right confusing...

Aria was awake almost all day today! She just refused to sleep with so much fun going on today! She loved watching Asher and Zach run around the house playing and got so excited anytime someone looked her way.

Yummy Baba

Aria is adjusting well to eating from a bottle, though I know I'll miss breast feeding it's nice to be able to just grab a bottle for her and she can have bigger meals without having to snack so much. Plus now I can have Daddy watch her alone or let Grandparents take her for a night. Makes me a lot more free but I do enjoy breastfeeding and the closeness it brings between mom and baby. Aria doesn't seem to mind the bottle but I can tell she still loves to breastfeed but I only do it about every twelve hours now and it's quickly becoming less frequent with my milk beginning to make way less. I'll probably only be able to keep breastfeeding at all for the next few weeks.

We went over to Aunt Kayla and Uncle Peter's place again this week for BBQ with Uncle Brett and Aunt Jennie as well again and all the cousins, Zach, Logan, Mason, and Seia. Seia simply adores Aria and loves just watching her, she got so excited to be able to hold her today and Aria didn't seem to mind all the attention of course. Aria even took a quick nap on Aunt Jennie.

Three Months Old

Aria is Three Months Old today. I can't believe how time flies. It seems like only yesterday we were at the hospital and yet at the same time we've gotten into such a rhythm as a family that it feels like Aria's always been a part of our family.

MILESTONE CHECKLIST:

Aria did so good today with holding her head up, she's ahead of schedule in that department which is a good thing I like to think. :) And of course Asher just had to come lay next to her and be the best big brother ever and try to help as much as possible. Aria loves watching her brother and often smiles and giggles at him.

Meeting Great Grandpa

Aria got to meet Great Grandpa Coomes for the first time today. She also got to see Great Uncle David and Great Aunt Debbie and Second Cousin Katelyn again and watch Brother Asher play in their pool. Also got a new binky she started to break in tonight. Aria has also been munching on her fingers A LOT so I'm wondering if she's starting to teethe which seems a little early... hmm, have to keep watching I guess.

Aria proves Mohawks are for girls too, haha. We had some fun in the tub today and I couldn't help myself from giving Aria a little Mohawk. I think it looks cute, Daddy says it makes he look like a boy and tries to fix it but not before I got some pictures! Aria was a very happy baby today which is always something I love to see!

Reunited

Got to see Grandma and Grandpa Robinson and Uncle Grant today after a long absence due to them going out of town. Also got to meet Great Uncle J.R. and Second Cousins Sean and Brandon for the first time.
Aria took a pretty decent mid-day nap today but was up most of the rest of the day. She'll probably sleep real good tonight.

Aria had some fun on the swing today and loved being held by Mommy so she could see Daddy. She stayed awake a lot today and still seems to be a little on the constipated side though she doesn't fuss when she's being held unless she's hungry.

Still Fussy

Aria's still fussy if she's not being held. She slept more today though than she did yesterday which is a good thing and she also went poop, which is another good thing. Hope she gets over this soon. She still smiles for Mommy and Daddy though which is also good.

Fussy but Loves Mommy

Aria just couldn't fall asleep today it seemed. We got her some formula that is supposed to help her with the gas and constipation but I'm not sure how long it will take to kick in. She was pretty fussy today and I think that may be why.

She's usually a very good baby but anytime I tried setting her down she let me know loudly that she wanted to be held. Only time she didn't make noise is while eating and while I held her in the sling and continuously moved.

After her last meal for the night (on the breast) she finally fell asleep feeding and as I put her in her bassinet she woke up and started smiling for me and I got these pictures. She fell back to sleep quickly after and I hope she'll sleep well tonight.
